Notes: The Chinese way of counting is very simple. We use “十一” (shí yī) for “eleven”, “十二” (shí èr) for “twelve”, “十三” (shí sɑ̄n) for “thirteen” and so on. And we use “二十”( èr shí) for “twenty”, “二十一” ( èr shí yī) for “ twenty-one” and so on. How about “三十”、“三十一”……?
