There is no classifier in English. However, different objects need different classifiers to classify in Chinese. If you use the classifier wrongly, the term does not make sense. |

As mentioned in Unit 1, there is no singular and plural form of the noun. A classifier is unchanged and we only have to change the number to mean plural. For example, a car 一輛車 “jat1 loeng6 (gaa3) ce1”, three cars 三輛車 “saam1 loeng6 (gaa3) ce1”. |
