* Possessive adjective -- 「的」(de)

In Chinese, we will use the possessive adjective 的 “dik1” (ge3) to describe the noun.
Sentence pattern: Noun 1 + “ge3” + Noun 2

e.g. Ngo5 dik1 (ge3) baa1 baa1 我的爸爸


In the above example, 我 “ngo5” is the first noun, 爸爸 “baa1 baa1” is the second noun, the
possessive adjective “ge3” describes the second noun. It forms the meaning of “My father”.
