1.Chinese kinship terms are much more specific than English ones. There are different names for uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, and even cousins. |
2. Sometimes we call all elder people “¹«¹«” (gōng gong) , “ÆÅÆÅ” (pó po) , “ÊåÊå” (shū shu), “²®²®” (bó bo), “°¢ÒÌ” (ɑ̄ yí) , so as to show respect to them. |
