When you want to ask someone to do something for you politely, you may use the word 請 "qǐng". It is the same as the word “please” in English. The structure of using 請 in Chinese is different from that in English. In English, we usually put the word “please” at the end of the sentence or sometimes at the beginning. However, we put the word 請 “qǐng” at the beginning of a sentence in Chinese. |
