Miss Wong: There are different kinds of festival
each year. Each country has different festivals. 
When students are introducing a festival, 
they should mention the time, 
weather and costume of that 
festival clearly.
王老師：每年有很多節日，每個國家的節日都不同。 同學在介紹一個節日時，應該清楚交代那個節日的時間、天氣和服裝等。 wɑ́ng lɑ̌o shī： měi niɑ́n yǒu hěn duō jié rì，měi gè guó jiɑ̄ de jié rì dōu bù tóng。
 tóng xué zɑ̀i jiè shɑ̀o yī gè jié rì shí，
yīng gɑ̄i qīng chu jiɑ̄o dɑ̀i nɑ̀ ge jié rì de shí jiɑ̄n、
tiɑ̄n qì hé fú zhuɑ̄ng děng。
Ali: I understand. For example, I want to introduce
 Halloween. At first, I have to mention that 
Halloween is on 31st  October every year
 and is a Western festival.
阿力：我明白。例如我想介紹萬聖節，首先我要說出萬聖節在每年的十月三十一日，是一個西方的節日。 ɑ̄ lì： wǒ míng bɑi。lì rú wǒ xiɑ̌ng
jiè shɑ̀o wɑ̀n shèng jié，shǒu xiɑ̄n wǒ yɑ̀o shuō chū wɑ̀n shèng
jié zɑ̀i měi niɑ́n de shí yuè sɑ̄n shí yī rì，
shì yī gè xī fɑ̄ng de jié rì。
Aman: Besides, October belongs to the season
 of Autumn in Hong Kong. The weather of Autumn
 is cool and fine. It is always sunny. However,
 it is very dry.
阿文：其次，十月是香港的秋季，秋天的天氣很好，很涼快，常常都是晴天，但是十分乾燥。 ɑ̄ wén： qí cì，shí yuè shì xiɑ̄ng gɑ̌ng de qiū jì，qiū tiɑ̄n de tiɑ̄n qì hěn hɑ̌o，hěn liɑ́ng kuɑi，chɑ́ng chɑ́ng dōu shì qíng tiɑ̄n，dɑ̀n shì shí fēn gɑ̄n zɑ̀o。
Mei Ling: Finally, we have to introduce the costume 
of that festival as well. On Halloween, people will 
dress up like a devil. They put on dark and red 
devil clothes and carry orange pumpkins in 
order to scare people. 
 美玲：最後，我們還要介紹那個節日的服裝。萬聖節那天，人們都打扮得像魔鬼一樣，穿著黑色、紅色的魔鬼衣服，拿著橙色的南瓜，要嚇唬別人。 měi líng： zuì hòu，wǒ men hɑ́i yɑ̀o jiè shɑ̀o nɑ̀ ge jié rì de fú zhuɑ̄ng。wɑ̀n shèng jié nɑ̀ tiɑ̄n，rén men dōu dɑ̌ bɑn de xiɑ̀ng mó guǐ yī yɑ̀ng，chuɑ̄n zhuó hēi sè、hóng sè de mó guǐ yī fu，nɑ́ zhe chéng sè de nɑ́n guɑ̄，yɑ̀o xiɑ̀ hu bié ren。
Miss Wong: That’s right! Although Halloween 
is a Western festival, many people in Hong 
Kong celebrate this festival too. 
 王老師：對了！雖然萬聖節是一個西方節日，但是香港也有很多人慶祝呢！ wɑ́ng lɑ̌o shī： duì le！suī rɑ́n wɑ̀n shèng jié shì yī gè xī fɑ̄ng jié rì，dɑ̀n shì xiɑ̄ng gɑ̌ng yě yǒu hěn duō rén qìng zhù ne！
