Siu Ming : Miss Wong has asked us to write a composition about “My favourite festival”. Then, which festival do you like most?	小明：王老師要我們寫一篇文章：「我最喜歡的節日」，那麼你們會寫哪一個節日呢？	xiɑ̌o míng： wɑ́ng lɑ̌o shī yɑ̀o wǒ men xiě yī piɑ̄n wén zhɑ̄ng:「wǒ zuì xǐ huɑn de jié rì」，nɑ̀ me nǐ men huì xiě nɑ̌ yī gè jié rì ne？
Mei Ling : I like Mid – Autumn festival most. It is because I like eating moon cakes and playing lanterns. Moreover, the moon is especially bright on that day. I like enjoying the beautiful full moon with my family.	美玲：我最喜歡中秋節，因為我喜歡吃月餅、玩燈籠。再者，那天的月亮特別明亮，我喜歡和家人一起賞月。	měi líng：wǒ zuì xǐ huɑn zhōng qiū jié，yīn wèi wǒ xǐ huɑn chī yuè bing、wɑ́n dēng long。 zɑ̀i zhě，nɑ̀ tiɑ̄n de yuè liɑng tè bié míng liɑ̀ng，wǒ xǐ huɑn hé jiɑ̄ rén yī qǐ shɑ̌ng yuè。
Ali : I like Christmas most. The illuminations at Christmas are very beautiful. Also, I receive Christmas gifts from my father and mother.	阿力：我最喜歡聖誕節，聖誕節的燈飾很漂亮。而且，我也會收到爸爸和媽媽送的聖誕禮物呢！	ɑ̄ lì： wǒ zuì xǐ huɑn shèng dɑ̀n jié，shèng dɑ̀n jié de dēng shì hěn piɑ̀o liɑng. ér qiě，wǒ yě huì shōu dɑ̀o bɑ̀ bɑ hé mɑ̄ mɑ sòng de shèng dɑ̀n lǐ wù ne！
Aman: I like Diwali most. It is because we can have family gathering on this day. We can eat and chat together happily.	阿文：我最喜歡印度新年，因為這天我們可以和親友相聚，大家一起吃東西，一起聊天兒，非常愉快。	ɑ̄ wén： wǒ zuì xǐ huɑn yìn dù xīn niɑ́n， yīn wèi zhè tiɑ̄n wǒ men kě yǐ hé qīn yǒu xiɑ̄ng jù，dɑ̀ jiɑ̄ yī qǐ chī dōng xi，yī qǐ liɑ́o tiɑ̄nr，fēi chɑ́ng yú kuɑ̀i。
Siu Ming : I like Mid – Autumn Festival and also Chinese Lunar New Year. Chinese Lunar New Year may be similar to Diwali, only the customs are different. I like Chinese Lunar New Year because I have red packet money and I can also get together with my relatives. I think it is meaningful.	小明：我喜歡中秋節，也喜歡農曆新年。農曆新年也許和印度新年有點兒像，只是習俗不同。我喜歡農曆新年是因為可以收到紅包，而且可以和親友相聚，我覺得非常有意義。	xiɑ̌o míng： wǒ xǐ huɑn zhōng qiū jié， yě xǐ huɑn nóng lì xīn niɑ́n。 nóng lì xīn niɑ́n yě xǔ hé yìn dù xīn niɑ́n yǒu diɑ̌nr xiɑ̀ng，zhǐ shì xí sú bù tóng。 wǒ xǐ huɑn nóng lì xīn niɑ́n shì yīn wèi kě yǐ shōu dɑ̀o hóng bɑ̄o，ér qiě kě yǐ hé qīn yǒu xiɑ̄ng jù, wǒ jué de fēi chɑ́ng yǒu yì yì。
