If you are uncertain of something, you may use some auxiliary words to express that in English. In Chinese, some words carry uncertain 
meaning. They are 也許 (yě xǔ) ，可能 and 或者. The word 也許 is used in formal Chinese. The word 可能 and 或者 are used in 
both formal and informal Chinese. The usage of the uncertain words in Chinese is the same the English one. They will be put after the 
subject and in front of the verb.

Example: 農曆新年也許和印度新年有點像，只是習俗不同.

  nóng lì xīn niɑ́n yě xǔ hé yìn dù xīn niɑ́n yǒu diɑ̌nr xiɑ̀ng，zhǐ shì xí sú bù tóng。

               Chinese New Year may be similar to Diwali.
