In unit 2, you have learnt the use of “ also “ in Chinese. In this unit, you are going to learn a sentence pattern to tell two or more 
things that you like. In English, the word “ also” can be used. In Chinese, the word  和  can be used to link up the two items. However, 
you may also use the following sentence pattern to do the same thing.

In making this sentence pattern, the word  也(jaa5)  or  又(jau6)  should be used in the subordinate clause. 
The pattern of the main clause and the subordinate clause should be the same. The only difference is the subject 
can be ignored in the subordinate clause and the word  也 (jaa5)  or  又 (jau6)  has to be added at the beginning 
of the subordinate clause.
