阿文：喂，請問文菲在家嗎？

Manpreet’s mother: Yes, she is. Please wait.
文菲母親：她在家，請你等一會兒吧。

Manpreet: Hello? Who’s calling?

文菲：喂，你是誰？

wén fēi： wèi，nǐ shì shéi？
Aman: This is Aman. Long time no see. 
How are you, Manpreet?

阿文：我是阿文，文菲，很久沒見了，你好嗎？

ɑ̄ wén： wǒ shì ɑ̄ wén，wén fēi，
hěn jiǔ méi jiɑ̀n le，nǐ hɑ̌o mɑ？
Manpreet: I am fine, and you?

文菲：我很好，你呢？

wén fēi： wǒ hěn hɑ̌o，nǐ ne？
Aman: I am fine too. It is 
Christmas next week. We haven’t met 
your primary schoolmates for 
a long time. So I want to have a 
gatering and celebrate Christmas 
together, is it good?

阿文：我也很好。下個星期是聖誕節，我們很久也沒有與小學的同學見面了，所以我想辦一個聚會，大家一起慶祝聖誕，好嗎？

ɑ̄ wén： wǒ yě hěn hɑ̌o。 xiɑ̀ gè 
xīng qī shì shèng dɑ̀n jié，
wǒ men hěn jiǔ yě méi yǒu yǔ

Manpreet: It is a good idea. 
First, we decide the gathering 
time and place and then inform 
other classmates.

阿文：我們要通知同學在尖沙咀港鐵站集合，時間是下午七時。

ɑ̄ wén： wǒ men yɑ̀o tōng zhī tóng xué 
zɑ̀i jiɑ̄n shɑ̄ zuǐ gɑ̌ng tiě zhɑ̀n jí hé，shí jiɑ̄n shì xiɑ̀ wǔ qī shí。
Manpreet: There are many people 
in the MTR station,

文菲：因為港鐵站太多人，所以我們不要在那兒集合，在酒店門口集合吧。
