Ali and Aman meet new friends on the first school day. They are Mei Ling and Siu Ming. Both of them are Chinese. Mei Ling was born in Hong Kong and Siu Ming was born in Mainland China.

All of them go home by MTR. They walk together and chat with each other. They are talking about their living places and their families.

Ali lives in Yuen Long. There are six members in his family. He lives with his father, mother, two elder sisters and one younger sister.

Aman lives in Jordan. There are also six members in her family. She lives with her parents, auntie (her mother’s elder sister), one twin sister and two younger brothers. She is the eldest in her family.

Mei Ling lives in Sham Shui Po. There are five members in her family. She lives with her grandfather, grandmother and her parents. She is the only child in her family.

Siu Ming lives in Tsuen Wan. There are three members in his family. He lives with his mother and an elder brother.

Aman has to go home earlier today since it is her younger brother’s birthday. At last, they say goodbye to each other.
