It is the school picnic day this Friday. Ms. Wong’s 1A class and Mr. Ko’s 1B class are going to the Sai Kung Country Park together. The students will gather at school on that day and the gathering time is 8:30 in the morning. They will go there by coach. Ali knows Michael in 1B. Michael is a Pilipino and he is only eleven years old. His Nepalese classmate, Dixit, also knows Aman. Therefore, they are planning to play with Mei Ling and Siu Ming on that day.

Except Siu Ming and Mei Ling, the other four have not been to Sai Kung before. They only know some tourist spots in Hong Kong. Therefore, Siu Ming and Mei Ling introduce the tourist spots in Hong Kong to them.

When Siu Ming introduces Wong Tai Sin Temple to Ali and Aman, Ali is interested in it. Then, he introduces the Mosque in Tsim Sha Tsui to them. They start talking about different religions. They agree that Hong Kong is a city with religious freedom because there are people who believe in Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, Taoism and so on. They think that each religion has its own rituals and customs.

Then, they share their traveling experiences. They mention that we need to apply for visa when going to some countries and at the same time they remind us that we have to beware of the weather and the things that we have to bring along for emergency. Ali likes to buy some sovereigns when he travels in every country. He says that some travelers like to bargain with shopkeepers when they go shopping since they want to buy things with the best price. Some of them will even shop in a crazy way especially when there is a big sale in the department store.

After school, they go to buy the things for the school picnic. They are all looking forward excitingly for the school picnic day.
